Film-maker Eric Schulz's "Carlos Kleiber: Traces to Nowhere" has won the DVD Documentary Award at the 2011 Gramophone Classical Music Awards. Gramophone has uploaded a 6:28 video clip about the award on YouTube. It contains comments on the film by music critic Jeremy Nicholas and an excerpt of director Schultz's remarks in accepting the award. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ECj2_P_GecP.S. As if to demonstrate that he has the ability to be a gossip columnist, Nicholas makes a brief but extremely inappropriate reference to CK's private life in his comments. Shame on him.

Yes, inappropriate and gratuitous. The film itself is very fine, can't wait for Mr. Barber's book!
